Pool Heating

There are two main options for heating your pool.

The first option is to use solar heating. This is where we pump the pool water through black matting which is installed on your roof which the sun heats up. This water then flows back into your pool. We use a controller to turn the pump on only when it will be effective by measuring the difference in temperature between the roof and the pool water.

Another option is to install a water heater. The water heater is wired into the mains power and runs like an air-conditioning unit. This type of heating is best to have running all year round to maintain the desired temperature.

With any heating for your pool to maximize the heat output and minimize the electricity used you should also have a pool blanket.

Having trouble deciding if heating is for you? Ask you sales person about installing the provisions for heating. This gives you the option of getting the heating installed at another time with the major pipe work to the pool already installed.
